  Use to love this place but after today never going back Flys ever were food was awful no service. We had to get up and ask for refills. Sorry uncle Dave you lost 5 customers today.

  I wanted to like this but it just didn't happen. They were out of most everything on the menu. Was told they would have more later when someone got back from the store. The pulled pork was very fatty. On top of that, there was no flavor at all....it appears it was baked (or microwaved). I would understand no sauce on it if there was some kind of smoked flavor, but there was nothing...just plain pork. The people were nice, but it just wasn't working the day we were there.

  Not sure how well Uncle Dave's is known outside of local circles but, IMHO, it beats anything for miles around! Happy, smiling people, fast service, very ample portions, and GOOD food...my favorite BBQ place, bar none!.... update 8/16...got 2 pounds pulled pork to go. Every tiny bite was good edible meat..none of the fat or gristle so common from most places. Uncle Dave's is tops!!!
